About us
CUPE local 3826 located on the un-ceded Algonquin Anishinabe territory. We are 200+ Members that work front-line towards the care of people with developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders. We currently support approximately 100 individuals with many types of care requirement. It’s our belief as an executive and a local that everyone deserves a voice at the table. We believe, that fighting for safe workplaces, decent wages and benefits is our top priority. The executive and the local will ensure that all member will not be discriminated based on sexual orientation, gender identity, race or creed
President Message
Welcome to CUPE 3826. We would first like to acknowledge that our worksites are located on the un-ceded Algonquin Anishinabe territory. Whether you are a new member or existing member we are here to assist you. It’s our job as union activists to ensure that you are fairly represented and to have fair treatment during your term of being a member. Please don’t be afraid to approach one of the many union stewards or executive within the local to get a better understanding of our local and how we are here to assist you with your needs.
